KERR ropes work very similar to those Recovery Straps made among others from WARN (which we also stock) but are even more elastic. Initially they were made to recover stuck tracked vehicles and other armored stuff so they can take a lot of abuse. Strech to more than 150% of their initial lenght.
Recovery is simple even with light vehicles. Take a good run and stretch the KERR. At full extension jump on the brakes. The accumulated force in the rope will get almost any stuck vehicle out.
This quality has obviously a price. We can get new KERRs for around 3.000.- Flux apiece in the standard 10.000 Kgs capacity. Greater ratings available up to 100 tons as well as any desired lenght. These are the best recovery straps on the market. And another advantage: If you cut them up you can reknit them back together so you loose only a bit of lenght. Try this on a recovery strap!
